Guide to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) Program, May 2015

This publication is intended for private sponsors i.e., Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs) and their Constituent Groups (CG), Groups of Five (G5) and Community Sponsors (CS) in Canada who are interested in sponsoring refugees from abroad. This manual provides users with information on who is eligible to be sponsored through the PSR program, how to form a sponsoring group, sponsor and refugee responsibilities, how to submit a complete sponsorship application and whom to contact and for what. You will also find additional information on sponsorship opportunities in this manual.
