Implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), The Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) provides information and orientation sessions to refugees aged 13 and above before their departure to Canada. The main objective of the programme is to empower refugees resettling to Canada by providing them information to make informed decisions about their initial settlement, and to prepare for the journey to Canada.
There will be a 30 minute presentation about the information that is covered in the COA pre-departure orientation sessions and self-learning tools available to refugee participants, followed by a Q & A discussion.
