DESCRIPTION:Join us for an insightful and empowering webinar\, where you will discover how you can become a catalyst for positive change through refugee sponsorship through Canada’s special program that matches would-be sponsors with refugees in need of resettlement. \nThe Blended Visa Office-Referred (BVOR) program is a partnership between the Canadian government and regular community members in Canada (Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents). \nBVOR Sponsors provide financial support (with some assistance from the government)\, emotional\, social and other key settlement supports that help refugees get a good footing in Canada and to break the isolation of being resettled to a new country alone. \nREGISTER HERE. \n\nPlease note\, the refugees participating in the BVOR program cannot be named by sponsors\, if you know a person/refugee that you would like to sponsor\, please take a look at the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program page.
