DESCRIPTION:This webinar is for:\n Anyone in Canada\, interested in becoming a refugee sponsor through the BVOR program\n Existing BVOR sponsors who are actively sponsoring someone right now\, whether new to the program or experienced (including Groups of Five\, Community Sponsors and Workplace Sponsorship participants)\n  \nJoin us live on Zoom to ask our BVOR worker\, Parastoo\, anything about the BVOR refugee sponsorship program – that is the program that matches potential sponsors like you with refugees in need of resettlement to Canada. Whether you’re a seasoned or new refugee sponsor\, or just taking your first steps towards your first BVOR sponsorship – all people and questions are welcome! Please make sure to register to reserve your spot. Join us for the whole hour\, or drop by anytime during the hour to ask your question(s). If we cannot get through all of your questions\, we will do our best to respond to you over email after the webinar. \n  \nRegister Here\n  \n*Before you register – please note\, refugees for the BVOR program are referred to Canada by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and selected by Immigration\, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Refugees cannot apply to participate in this program. The BVOR ‘Ask me Anything’ sessions are held several times throughout the year and participants may stay for the whole session or drop by anytime throughout the hour to ask their question(s).
